Deputy Director - Strategy Controlling & ALM Directorate

This job requires relevant experience in the financial-accounting area.

Must have:

Professionalrequirements:

• Relevant experience in a managerial position (5+ years);
• Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.

Personal requirements:

• Able to grow and coordinate teams of medium size (10-15 people);
• Able to understand the economic substance over numbers and to extract information from them;
• Able to take initiative and deliver results;
• Able to take risks and make decisions;
• Hard worker, self-motivated and persistent.

What will you do

This position will be in charge of Controlling Department  and Cost Controlling Department.

You will focus on: 

• Digitalization automation of reports (from Excel to OBIEE);
• Shifting mindset towards serving internal and external customers;
• Analysis over reports, quality over quantity;
• Build and energize the teams.

• Regular & ad-hoc reporting to the Group, local management and local counterparties -  lines of business, cost owners, stream leaders, risk:
• Monthly Financial Performance Report (Management), monthly reporting to Group
• profitability by business lines ()
• costs and investments (opex and capex)
• status quo and budget executions for Apollo streams, projects & initiatives

• Deep dive reports and analyses: net interest margin, net fees & commission income, cost or risk etc;
• Reports and analyses on KPIs, performance or regulatory ratios;
• Capital planning - ensure the capital ratios of the bank are met (actual plus rolling forecast);
• Budgeting process (budgeting, forecasting, modelling etc.) and quarterly rolling forecast;
• Asses business cases from a costs vs benefits perspective;
• Cost controlling (financial and operational reporting, takeover from cost owners).
