Job role

You will be involved in developing a platform that will integrate applications used across multiple organizations in Allianz Group. Agile approach, analysis, development and tests are a few of the attributes required, therefore AMOS is pursuing the ‘T-shaped skill profile through primary SW development competencies’ (Host or Java) which are complemented by ‘secondary competencies’ (Design and Test).

General Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or IT
• English language proficiency
• Desired: 
  • 3+ years of experience in SW design and programming, development projects and distributed SW systems
  • previous experience in the insurance sector with policy administration platforms and/or ERP solutions with an insurance or banking environment  

Job Competencies

• 3 years work experience with Java
• Strong competence in PL/1, DB2, JCLs
• Good knowledge of and experience with Linux
• Experience in Endeavor, design/implementation, testing and maintenance of software solution and in collaborative agile environments (scrum)
• Track record of working across teams with other SW-engineers, business/design engineers and architecture for sustainable and reproducible solutions and to improve technical standards, design-principals and methodologies
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Analytical thinking and troubleshooting  

        Nice  to have:

• Scripting,  Microfocus toolset, Eclipse and SVN skills
• Architecture concepts: Design Pattern , REST/SOAP WebServices
• Frameworks: Spring MVC, JaxWS
• Technologies: Java script, Angular/JS, HTML 5, CSS 3, OSGI, JBOSS Fuse, JBOSS ESB, Apache Camel, Eclipse RCP
• Tools: Maven, GIT, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Eclipse
