Software Innovation Leader for App development & IoT

Job Description:

Continental R&D Timisoara is looking for a software innovation leader with innovative mindset, that will Technically lead the innovation projects developed by student innovation teams, in the areas of app development, cloud services, IoT prototyping. Manages his/ her group as to obtain good results, in line with the local innovation strategy and expectations, process requirements, procedures, regulations and the defined timeline. Technical Involvement: Responsible for technical solutions in his area of competence and responsibility. Is performing technical activities within the project. Communication: Communicates internally the group strategy to his/ her group and with business partners and homologues from other locations and/ or Business Units on a regular basis. People Development and Performance Management: Is responsible to ensure that employees' competencies and skills inside the group are at the level required by the job. Is responsible for technical performance evaluation of his team. Mentoring and Coaching: Responsible to mentor and/ or coach team members, when necessary, on technical topics in order to obtain expected project results. Ensures that new team members easily get integrated in his/ her organization. Hiring: Participates at interviews and at interview decisions. Participates with HR in recruiting events. Presents the company and/ or company's products in order to attract talents.

Job Requirements:

<li>Minimum 5 years of software development experience both in frontend and backend (database architectures, cloud services, web development, mobile apps, frameworks for software development);

<li>Experience with agile methodologies for the management of software development;

<li>Practical experience with IoT HW/SW prototyping (hardware setups, Raspberry Pi, etc);

<li>Fluent in English language;

<li>Strong interpersonal skills;

<li>Leadership experience (leading people, leading projects).
