Technical Requirements

Experience of system testing of client and server applications.
Hands on experience with JUnit, Selenium, SoapUI or RESTClient
3+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
3+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
Dynamic, proactive, and with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Analyze, design, author and execute new or modified tests to high quality
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
To ensure that the products and services the company provides are of the highest possible quality in terms of build, performance, customer expectations and statutory requirements.
To monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system and produces data and report on performance, measuring against set indicators.
Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved

Highly Desirable:

Experience of server side technologies: Java (or any other programming language), SQL, web services
See things from a customers point of view and understand the business impact of bugs and features
Demonstrate an understanding of different software test processes and methodologies.

Primary responsibilities:

Design and executive test plans for all built in-house apps (web, desktop plus mobile).
Record and document results and compare to expected results.
Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
Generate historical analysis of test results.
Maintain database of software defects.
Examine code and execution of code in various environments.
Develop and document application test plans based on software requirement sand technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, accepted web standards and those standards set forth by upstream sources.
Perform application security audits.
Implement application designs, create queries, scripts, web pages and other deliverable.
Ensure data integrity standards.
Determining and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications.
Produce clear and accurate bug reports, test reports and test plans
Work independently as well as part of a team
Provide feedback on development processes and contribute to improvement of these processes.
