Position overview
We are seeking 3 Data Engineers to join our Randstad Digital team in a challenging project in the pharmaceutical field.

The project is in collaboration with one of the world's leading multinational corporations - owner of many well-known consumer brands. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving data transformation initiatives, optimizing performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.


Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on Azure environment;
Proficiency in PySpark and Python, with a deep understanding of data transformation techniques;
Strong knowledge of Azure services, particularly Databricks and Azure Data Factory;
Solid understanding of SQL for data manipulation and querying purposes;
Experience with data modeling concepts and tools, such as SQL Server or Synapse;
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Familiarity with unit testing methodologies and techniques;
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:
Utilize PySpark for data engineering transformations within the Azure environment, leveraging services like Databricks and Azure Data Factory;
Design and implement data pipelines to efficiently process and transform large datasets;
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
Optimize data processing performance through efficient coding practices and architectural enhancements;
Conduct unit testing and ensure high standards of data quality and reliability;
Provide expertise in SQL for data manipulation and querying purposes;
Engage in modeling activities, including working with SQL Server or Synapse for data modeling tasks;
Work closely with web developers to understand data consumption patterns and optimize data delivery mechanisms;
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, continuously improving processes and methodologies.
