    Job Description

    Managing of the site infrastructure comprising of generation, delivery and consumption of energy with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement of the existing processes to ensure a reduction in the specific energy consumption of the factory.

    ? Developing and maintaining effective monitoring and reporting, setting of departmental KPI's;

    ? Establish and lead the team for running the normal operations of all the Utilities systems (steam, compressed air, vacuum. electricity, water management and ventilation);

    ? Managing and developing the team consisting of engineers and technicians;

    ? Improving the energy efficiency and reducing energy use, thereby reducing costs;

    ? Develop technical expertise in all matters to do with energy and its related environmental control and permissions; 

    ? Developing and implementing strategies relating to renewable energy and corporate sustainable development (for example: decarbonization);

    ? Develop and control the annual energy budget for the site;

    ? Preparing detailed schedules of work, feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects;

    ? Ensure adherence to the best practices & standards in the company as well as the legal requirements as stipulated by local authorities;

    ? Compiling requirement-books and preparation of project budgets;

    ? Active participation in the company wide network to learn and share knowledge.

    Qualifications

    • University degree in technical field;
    • Minimum 3 years experience of management in a similar position;
    • Experience with steam boilers, compressors, vacuum systems, chillers, pumps, fresh and waste water, as well as electrical distribution systems is preferred;
    • Minimum 1 year of international work experience.
    • Experience with financial reporting;
    • Experience in managing suppliers and contractors.
