    Position overview
    We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our challenging project in the travel and tourism field.
    The project is in collaboration with one of the world's leading provider of travel technology that focuses on developing software for airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and other travel-related businesses to enhance their operations and customer experiences
    In this role, you will be responsible for software operations, change management, incident management, post-mortem analysis, ad hoc service monitoring, continuous improvement, and communication within a Systems Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role;
    • Knowledge of Linux command line, SSH and script execution, including Bash and Python;
    • Previous Experience with Oracle DBA;
    • Experience with Win@pproach, ULAM, OSR, Sentinel & Argos monitoring solutions;
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field;
    • Very good English level is a must (spoken and written);
    • Knowledge in Ansible and Go is considered a plus;
    • Experience with Service Reliability Engineering or DevOps practices is a plus.


    • Software evolution: Software activation on pre-production, production and post-production; pre-production testing and test evaluation;
    • Software change management: sign-off, evaluation, execution of a RnD submitted change;
    • Change planning for OS related changes: planning, testing, verification, approval, execution, closure;
    • Incident management in specific cases: impact of applied change – investigation, recovery;
    • Post-Mortem analysis in specific cases;
    • Ad Hoc service monitoring during changes;
    • Continuous Improvement in above fields;
    • Reporting on changes and continuous improvement including success rate, problems and volume;
    • Continuous communication with the existing SRE team.
