PostgreSQL – Database Administrator (DBA)

Your tasks will include: 

• Optimize and fine-tune the performance of PostgreSQL database infrastructure to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues, including query optimization, indexing, and caching strategies
• Ensure high availability, backup, replication, and system maintenance tasks for PostgreSQL databases are set up and maintained
• Implement and enforce security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data stored in PostgreSQL databases
• Document data systems, infrastructure, and models
• Provide technical feedback and guidance to team members

What we expect from you:

• 3+ years of PostgreSQL DBA experience
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of data modeling and data warehouse, data lake, and cloud architecture
• Continuous drive to simplify, streamline, and improve operational efficiency
• A high-level of curiosity to explore, evaluate, and deploy new methods and technology to improve our data platform and processing
• Good written and oral English language skills (B1 or higher)
