    Job Description

    Ensures the production and testing of customer specific products on time, with the right quality and cost
    o planning and controlling of costs vs budget; 
    o planning and controlling of resources (equipment, people, material)
    o leading change management (organization, processes);

    Ensures capable processes and equipment (e.g. Cpk, FPY, OEE)
    o implementation of technical changes
    o maintenance of all equipment : Trouble shooting; Short-term inspections of equipment, cleaning; Continuous care of the equipment; Preventive maintenance;

    Ensures the quality of processes and products in order to fulfill internal and customer targets.

    o Sets priorities in the sequence of problem solving (deviation management)
    o Implementation & monitoring of corrective actions in case of non-conformity;

    Ensures the deliveries according to customers call-offs, and in general the achievement of logistics goals according to internal and external customer expectations.

    Drive the implementation of programs and initiatives to minimize logistics cost and optimize inventories:
    o in charge of procurement of specific material and customer order management
    o in charge of production planning and control (daily and long term)

    Main contact for Business Units to make sure that their needs and objectives are addressed in the correct way and to give feedback about manufacturing status.
    o Supervise, support and control in case of new product launches (equipment, process, sample builds, supply chain) to ensure a safe launch and ramp up.

    Ensures Product / Process change management 
    o update of manufacturing documentation (Process FMEA, workflow and work instructions)
    o Continuous improvement of product / process / variable & fix cost

    Ensures application of CBS principles and methods in new launches and serial production
    o responsible for continuous improvement and implementation of LEAN principles

    Manufacturing related technologies, systems, infrastructures, standards and processes

    Lean Production principles, methods and tools

    Automotive System components and technologies

    Product Knowledge (Functionalities and Applications)

    Logistics Management (including Logistics policies, systems and processes)

    Quality Management (including Quality policies, systems and processes)

    Industrial Engineering Management (including IE systems and processes)

    Management skills, tools and techniques

    Human relations skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking, legal regulations)

    Communication skills, including Presentation and Negotiation techniques

    Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques
