    Job Description

    As an ASIC design engineer, you will develop and execute plans to integrate and operate ASIC systems. They design and implement architecture and processing systems, and configure and oversee optimization and testing processes up to responsibility for full chip design and integration. You may create detailed design specifications and then supervise the development and evolution of those plans based on input from end users and other stakeholders. They perform a variety of related tasks including logic synthetization and verification.

    As part of our team, you will:

    • Analyze customer and/or internal system requirements and create system integration plan;
    • Define system architecture, together with discipline architects (or experts);
    • Create and maintain system architecture documents and system integration documents;
    • Decompose system architecture to sub-systems;
    • Decompose requirements to sub-system level and provide system test specification;
    • Define system internal interworking requirements on sub-system level;
    • Define system integration test plan;
    • Run microelectronics system integration tests and create reports;
    • Participate actively in knowledge transfer;
    • Provide customer support on vehicle system integration activities;
    • Provide support to system tester at deriving test-cases out of requirements;
    • Decision making based on time - cost - quality.
    Qualifications

    ASIC design engineers have at least a bachelor's degree in an engineering or science field.  An advanced understanding of ASIC design and general computer architecture, and be able to write detailed design specifications. Other related computer skills, such as a broad range of computer programming and coding abilities, are advantages.

    • University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or equivalent technical discipline;
    • At least 2 years of professional experience in product development, preferably in embedded software, system verification and validation and/or electronic for automotive application;
    • Basic know how on hardware and software;
    • Advanced debugging skills;
    • Good English skills;
    • Fast context switching.
