    Overview

    Provides PMO services to key delivery projects and programmes in the portfolio, including project management support, project governance and control services supporting the wider teams in the aim of building a culture of rapid iteration and continuous improvement, empowering developers to ship code with speed and confidence.     Main Responsibilities

    Governance and Methodology:

    Assists teams in creating and maintaining the delivery schedule, milestones and tasks in the relevant scheduling tool(s) in like with Agile methodologies. Supports the identification and management of dependencies, delivery risks and issues and tracks status through the maintenance of risks and issues logs

    Develop and implement standardised templates, tools, and processes for project management. Provide guidance and support to project and program managers on best practices for project execution.

    Drives alignment to project management standards and frameworks, governance procedures and standard templates.

    Monitoring and Reporting:

    Establish and maintain a central repository for project and program data.

    Co-ordinates project communications and status reporting in line with standards including PMO reporting dashboards and metrics to track project progress and performance.

    Supports project budget tracking, including actual and forecasted expenditure and accounting for variances, and maintenance of the delivery and resource plan across the portfolio

    Risk and Issue Management:

    Facilitate risk and issue workshops to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues.

    Develop and implement risk management plans and contingency strategies.

    Raise critical issues to stakeholders and track resolution progress.

    Required Skills

    Experience in project management, demonstrable experience leading a PMO function.

    Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt to different project environments.

    Superb communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

    Proven ability to build and lead impactful teams.

    Experience with PMO software and reporting tools
