Digital Services Engineer - Tires

Job Description

• Ensures and supervises : cybersecurity, backup and maintains control system software, such as IPCs, PLC, drives, communication devices;
• Maintains IPCs: IP Addresses and Host Names, Business Partner Access, IPC Inventory, Backup and Restoring, Cybersecurity , Domain Integration, Manufacturing Systems and Energy Monitoring;
• Ensures compliance with the electrical standards defined by Engineering Tires (MES / C&D) for CPIs, PLC, drives, machine interfaces;
• Ensures contact with Central DS team and spare parts suppliers to be updated with last technologies in its field of activity;
• Implements, validates and documents hardware and software changes made to control systems in accordance with specifications;
• Provides 24/7 support at level 3 for faults (1 - electricians / 2 - electrical engineers in the area);
• Provides support to Strategic Projects, Utilities and Plant Engineering departments;
• Provides technical support for interfaces and hardware (IPCs, PLCs, drives systems, etc.) and software (control settings, high-level programming, etc.), in accordance with the internal escalation procedure;
• Provides specialized training for the maintenance team and other electrical engineers, related to C&D systems, including IT interfaces.

• University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent;
• English language - medium level;
• IT knowledge - IPC management, Databases;
• Programming knowledge (TwinCAT and Step7 is a plus);
• Knowledge of drive automation, PLC hardware, IPC hardware;
• Technical knowledge (communication protocols, networks, Human-machine interface, reading of electrical drawings).
