Job Description
Management of SCM activities on Segment level with the objective of achieving cost and cash flow improvements. This includes reporting, financial target setting per location, necessary standardization, risk management and business plan achievement for possible inventory deviations accepted.
Monitor results, keeping records and distributing to business partners involved (operating departments, suppliers, customer)
- Respond to enquiries of responsibles (operating departments, suppliers, customers);
- Claim for results, monitor and report regularly to operating departments, suppliers, customers;
- Monitoring of actions to achieve the targets for logistic costs, inventories / turnrate and delivery performance of the Segment MTS plants / focus factories /CODs;
- Preparation of reports and Big Data analysis for the SCM community incl. Key Performance Indicators (KPI);
- Preparation and execution of Segment Management reporting for logistic costs and inventories / turnrate;
- Tracking of inventory effects within the Segment MTS;
- Support of monitoring and increase of PSM rate including action implementation as well as blocked stocks;
- Assurance of consistency of volume data in the supply chain from customer to suppliers;
- Assurance of customer supply in cases of relocation of production- and assembly facilities;
- Support of plants/focus factories in customer system and process handling.
- University Degree (Economics, Management in Production and Transportation);
- Good understanding of automotive operational production locations (senior level in production, controlling or SCM areas);
- Experience in automotive is mandatory;
- Advanced English - speaking and writing level;
- Initiative and result orientation;
- More than 2 years' experience in Project Management;
- German/ French/ Spanish Language is a plus.
