Senior Front-End Developer (Angular)

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to be member of the Agile Team responsible for implementing software development functionalities for Capital Markets Shared Technology Products. They apply business requirements and knowledge of software development lifecycles to guide the development of complex software products or customer solutions.
The Front-End Developer works as a part of a Scrum team using Continuous Integration and adopting DevOps practices.

Role requirements:

• Develops, tests and delivers software solutions that align with architecture, operational and risk processes
• Producing clean efficient code based on specifications and developing components for UI using modern languages and techniques
• Have familiarity with security and operational best practices
• Working in a modern, agile environment
• Identifies, prioritises, and completes tasks in the software development life cycle
• Collaborating with team members on best practices, promoting effective cloud-based approaches and embracing agile methodologies to rapidly iterate solutions
• Ensures high quality product through the validation and verification testing of functional and non-functional requirements
• Have an eye for details in maintaining the end user experience
• Write reusable, modular and well performing code reviews
• Collaborates with internal teams (including Product Owners/Business and Client Analysis) and vendors to fix and improve products

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

• 4+ years of experience in software development methodologies and Agile based delivery
• 4+ years of experience in Typescript, JavaScript
• 1+ years experience in Angular
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3
• Experience consuming RESTful Web Services, GraphQL API's and WebSockets
• Understanding of security implications and secure coding.

Nice to have:

• Backend architectures understanding including integration patterns
• Databases & SQL skills using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or other relevant database technologies
• Build automation tools to support CI/CD pipeline
• Scripting capability to support DevOps and Quality Engineering work
