Test Development Engineer for Prototype Sample Shop - SAM PSS (TM)

Job Description

• Developing, reviewing and maintaining test specifications for functionalities of low to medium complexity for Flying probe test (Takaya);
• Performing tests and ensuring traceability according to given requirements and specifications;
• Participating to the automation (using internal tools or other programming languages) of manual tests;
• Ensuring testing equipment availability for own tasks, including the test equipment for test automation;
• Using the test environment and providing feedback;
• Contributing to plan with effort estimations for own tasks;
• Uses the existing project planning for tests schedule and tracks own activities (e.g. follows the existing test activities plan and Performing flash, implement flashing solution and order needle adaptors).

• University degree in technical field: Electronics/Automatics/Software/Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum 1 year of testing experience in electronics area, hardware or software;
• Programming languages knowledge;
• Electronics manufacturing knowledge;
• Good English knowledge (writing, reading and speaking);
• Team player with good and clear communication skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Practical experience using test tools: instrumentation for measurement and control (oscilloscope, power supply, CANoe);
• Knowledge of Test Equipment; Flying probe -Takaya ;
• Knowledge in specific tools like:  UNICOM3, PCDiagNT, Infineon Memtool 4.7, CANalyzer,  Lauterbach Debugger, Test Expert, Test Way, PCB-CAM-Tool.
