    Passive Safety Software team is developing software for restraint system activation in case of road events. We save lives when there is nothing more that can be done to prevent an accident.

    How are you and what are your future plans? We are looking for a SW Supplier Manager (m/f/diverse) for 3rd Party AUTOSAR from SW and Micro Controller suppliers and Customers incl. Free Open Source to join us.

    Role Description:

    * Support Projects with Planning, ordering, and rollout;
    * Obtain SW deliveries, verify completeness and Quality, prepare internal delivery packages and communicate the output to the project teams;
    * Setup and maintain ASPICE & Process compliant Project 3rd party SW management documentation, SW schedules in close collaboration with SW PMs WW and represent this area in Assessments;
    * Package the deliveries into Installer packages ready for use in Projects;
    * Ensure proper usage of SW License availability and use in projects;
    * Execute regular tracking of orders, tickets and change request progress at the SW supplier incl. regular Synch meetings and if necessary escalations at the supplier and at Continental;
    * Ensure highest quality expectations, Process (ASPICE and other standards) compliance of deliveries as well as own proceeding;
    * Organize and track "open source SW scans" based on Continental internal Services and communicate the results to the Projects;
    * Support PSS Process team with continuous;
    * Collaboration with intercultural teams (incl. common Task planning work split) WW.

    A consistent introductory phase is available in order to enable you to stepwise accommodate yourself with our products, tools, processes and organization and to set solid grounds for your engineering knowledge and experience to make a difference in the demanding field of passive safety.

    Job Requirements:

    * University Degree (e.g. Computers, Automation, Electronics, Informatics);
    * Degree in SW engineering or SW focused electronic engineering;
    * Approximately three years of SW related working experience;
    * Basic knowledge of (practical experience welcome): AUTOSAR SW: rough technical understanding of AUTOSAR Architecture; ASPICE, Functional Safety and Security Standards (mainly informative; Embedded SW development and Micro Controllers;
    * Experience in: (SW) Project Management (Planning, tracking escalation);
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German would by a plus);
    * Soft Skills: experience and personality strength to lead negotiations and escalations with (SW) suppliers in a flexible, well balanced but strong way.
