    orking for the Allianz Services Corporate Development team, your responsibilities will be as a Project Manager with Product Owner abilities, in the MS Dynamics implementation project.
     Allianz Services is standardizing and globalizing its business setup. Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the tool of choice for a global operating system encompassing all governance and support functions end-to-end from opportunity creation to invoicing along the whole service lifecycle. Acting as a Project Manager of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 project your task is to envision, define and plan the setup of the operating system from a business point of view to maximize business value together with all relevant stakeholders, e.g. business owner and scrum team. As a project manager you will gain a solid experience in an international and multicultural environment. The position offers an excellent platform to get broad exposure to different lines of business including group and subsidiary / business units etc. thus opening various international and functional career opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Overseeing the whole project lifecycle from conceptual work, project initiation, planning (use case and business case development, milestone and end product planning, resource planning, benefits, etc.), ramp-up and execution, through to project closure for mainly for the MS Dynamics implementation project (at later stage also other projects will be relevant)
    • Understanding technical and business requirements for successful project delivery; collaborate with accountable executives for projects to ensure delivery to expectations
    • Manage and report on project execution: investment budgets, resource allocation and prioritization, end-to-end delivery of agreed end products, milestones (using benchmarks and best practices)
    • Making sure the business team and the technical team speak the same language and have the same understanding of the target picture as well as the respective journey.
    • Provide effective risk management on projects (risk identification, escalation, and mitigation)
    • Drive communication process to all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Sounding Board, EMT decision)
    • Act as a key driver in the globalization of Allianz Services
    • Provide expert program/project management
    • Liaise with key stakeholders across all locations to solve project related issues
    • Monitor and report on progress status of projects and metrics to all stakeholders; continuously identify and monitor execution risks
    • Agree on project objectives and deliverables, develop timelines and milestones, plan and track resources (financial and people), describe and estimate benefits
    • Own project execution and ensure on-time and in budget delivery to specification
    • Act as a Product Owner for global IT implementation of MS Dynamics       
    • Organize and coordinate various teams made up of internal and external resources, often with conflicting interests, to work on a project
    • Pro-actively steer the project towards a result-driven outcome. Monitor sub-contractors to ensure that guidelines are maintained
    • Escalate execution risks and issues appropriately
    Requirements
    • 5 -10 years of work experience in a similar role
    • Product driven with strong analytical capabilities
    • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (e.g. cost calculations, management presentations, decision paper)
    • Established track record of successful project delivery, preferably as a product owner
    • Comfortable in a changing environment, where short-notice requests are expected
    • Highly motivated, dynamic, self-steering
    • Understanding of agile IT development (e.g., scrum)
    • Broad commercial awareness (e.g., experience in different industries)
    • Excellent diplomatic and communication skills (upward and downward management, comfortable to present to Senior Management and Board Level)
    • Previous experience of operating in an international and large organization, incl. proven cultural sensitivity in order to fit into a multinational setup
    • Knowledge of MS Dynamics as an advantage
    • Willingness to travel as advantage
      Skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
    • Strong interpersonal skills, able to foster relationships with peers and other functions; ability to motivate and influence key project stakeholders and drive change
    • Knowledgeable on Agile methodology
    • Experience with IT Project Management, incl. functional design, budget controlling, IT risk management
    • Experience with KPI management and reporting solutions
    • Technical understanding of IT systems and processes
    • University degree, preferably in with focus in Information Technology (e.g. MBA, MSc)
    • Multi-year relevant experience and demonstrated excellence, preferably in IT-system documentation or related projects
    • Very good MS office skills
    • Fluent English; German as an advantage
