Tax Specialist

Our Accounting department is seeking for an experienced candidate to join us as a Tax Specialist.
To be successful as a tax specialist, you should be up-to-date with the latest technologies which assist in accounting duties, have an understanding of big data systems, and good communication skills. Ultimately, a  tax specialist should have strong analytical skills, pay attention to detail, and the ability to manage your time efficiently. Responsibilities

• Researching tax laws.
• Assisting in IRS and state audits.
• Gathering information and explaining options for best practice to clients.
• Preparing quarterly and annual tax compliance.
• Preparing federal and state income tax.
• Ensuring that tax returns are filed in accordance with tax authorities.

• Bachelors in Commerce, Accounting, or MA in Taxation. Master's degree in the Accounting discipline.
• Proven work experience in the Accounting department as a Tax Specialist, or a similar position.
• An Accountant certification will be mandatory.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
• Proficient in Tax reporting software
• Good analytical and logical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A sharp eye for details for accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Extraordinary mathematics and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitasks efficiently.
