    Job role

    Senior Accountant- Local Finance Department The Senior Accountant will support on different financial activities, having the following responsibilities:

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures all necessary operations for the month/quarter/year closing in SAP, according to Romanian and IFRS Standards of accounting and financial reporting
    • Ensures accounting of suppliers (invoice processing PO/ Non-PO); analysis and booking of Provisions, Accruals and Deferrals; Payroll booking
    • Performs accounts reconciliations (e.g. bank, assets, provisions, deferrals, customers and suppliers accounts) and reviews account balances in order to ensure correctness
    • Accounting of tangible and intangible assets in cooperation with Asset Accountant
    • Maintains relation with external consultants, provides supporting information for tax filings and ensures review and submission of tax returns as per the deadlines
    • Ensuring  payment of invoices in due time
    • Point of contact for SAP MM process (PR type, materials and cost centers to be used, material creation etc.)
    • Preparing different reports for the Management Team
    • Perform analysis of Allianz Technology SE Financial Statements to ensure compliance and integrity of financial reporting;
    • Active contribution in improving and implementing local and global operation processes and workflows as well as the development of local policies and procedures regarding the areas of accounting
    • Reporting to Head of Finance
    • Work in close collaboration with Head of Finance, Finance Manager, Financial Controller as well as Central Accounting department on accounting process;
    • Supervises the activities performed by the Junior Accountant related to employee reimbursement processes
    • Respects all circulars/decisions, methodological norms and working procedures, Internal Regulation, Compliance Policy and Anticorruption Policy of the Company
    • Prepares all documents that belong to the quality management system (procedures, instructions etc.) and drafts the necessary registrations for the development of activities
    • Fulfills other activities set by the hierarchical manager or the manager of the organizational entity to which it belongs , on the professional line or referred to the quality management
    Requirements
    • Strong Accounting background, advanced knowledge of Local Accounting standards
    • More than 5 years of relevant work experience in the accounting department in an international environment
    • Good experience in tax topics
    • University degree in economics, finance or related field
    • Good Knowledge of MS Office
    • Experience with SAP FI accounting systems
    • Fluent English written and spoken
    • ACCA, CECCAR or similar diplomas are a plus
    Skills
