Job role
As part of the Closing and Reporting team, you will provide support to the Financial Accounting Department, having the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Support the Group project “Simplifi” aiming to simplify/ harmonize the Group Chart Accounts. The topics to be handled are: cash, premiums, acquisition costs, reserves, investments;
- Participate actively in the different workshops and analyze if the proposed Group solution is technically feasible for the local entity;
- Analyze whether some current CoA’s can be replaced by the use of a data pool of accounting information;
- Experience of 5 years (internally or by an audit function);
- General experience in insurance accounting which could cover several topics (investments, insurance, cost);
- Master's degree in accountancy with a knowledge of the IFRS standards. Ability to implement the theory into practice;
- Ability to work independently but be aware of the importance of communication to the team (team player);
- Good communication skills;
- Self-managed, responsible and solution orientated;
- Creative and critical view for looking at questions / problems;
- Analytical skills and quick intellectual grasp;
- Strong knowledge of English and IT office tools (excel, word, PowerPoint);
