Role Purpose

The Technology Graduate Programme provides exposure to a number of different focus areas, varying from cutting-edge development and innovation, to operational and generalist roles, to managing projects or maintaining client relationships.

Role Responsibilities

The Admin Systems / Market Operations Technology team is responsible for the development of the Member Portal and Market Data Management System. Member Portal is the application responsible for administering the contractual status of entities interested in performing transactions on one of our exchanges, while MDMS handles the instruments which are subject to transactions on of these exchanges.

The exposure and contribution might be towards on of the two main software products (Member Portal/MDMS) which translates to hands-on working experience in the Java ecosystem and AWS. Another exciting place where contributions could be made is our shared tooling / metrics dashboard which translates to implementations that aggregate and consolidate software development information in a single platform to facilitate creation of metrics for the software projects we're contributing to, the technologies in this area are again Java, Python, Grafana and AWS.

Minimum Requirements

- This is an Individual Contributor role
- A genuine interest and understanding of the financial markets and technology
- A person who has basic AWS knowledge, exposure to OOP languages (preferably Java or Python), familiarity with unit testing and very curious to understand complex systems in highly integrated environments.
