Our Technology Graduate Programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and meaningful career in global financial markets technology.

We offer a wide range of Software Engineering and DevOps roles which will allow you to explore one of the following technologies:

• Java,

• JavaScript, Node, Angular/React

• Python

• .NET

• SQL, Shell script

• AWS/Azure/GCP

Roles can vary from front/back-end engineer, development and programming, we seek to match your skills and background to the projects available.

To be eligible you must be a final year undergraduate or Masters student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, software or related discipline, and have completed all the requirements of your course before September 2024.

Our Technology Graduate Programme is a 12-month development opportunity for the Tech Savvy. Fast-track your technical journey, learn and work with our technology gurus, and develop your career in a leading fintech company.

Our graduates join us on a permanent basis, allowing you to explore opportunities within a secure framework. Following the initial 12-month programme you will begin a longer-term role aligned with the needs of the business and your skills.

What we are looking for:

We are passionate about recruiting people who have a genuine curiosity about Technology and strive to pursue a Technology career path, demonstrated either via your work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies.

• You should have an interest in financial markets, which you've built through your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.

• A curiosity for data and an ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.

• Individuals who are able to connect the dots and think strategically.

• The environment we work in is fast paced, you'll need to demonstrate focus, resilience and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands.

• People who can collaborate with others, using their strong communication skills in the process.

• Good computer programming language both scripting and object programming, and might understand Agile methodology in driving software development

• Previous experience in working with business intelligence, platforms, and analytics: Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power Platform, Power Virtual Agent, will be a plus for certain developer roles.

We are considering candidates beyond the core software degrees (e.g. computer science, software engineering, Mathematics and Informatics) and candidate with physics, engineering, electronic degree who can demonstrate an interest in Technology as evidenced by extracurriculars or work experience, or personal projects can apply.

It's important to us that you can also understand the breadth of our organisation, how it functions and the vital role that technology plays in supporting LSEG and our clients.

• The first stage of the recruitment process involves a review of your CV and motivational statement.

• Should you pass the initial screening stage, we will invite you to complete a coding challenge to help identify your technical skills.

• The next step is a video interview where we will gain a deeper understanding of your motivations for the role as well as some of our key competencies.

• The final stage is an assessment centre which involves a number of different types of exercises - further information is provided at the point of invite.
