Job Description:

* Responsible for leading Material Planning Specialist team;
* Responsible to provide/ approve work packages estimations or quotes;
* Responsible to plan and monitor the execution of all activities/ tasks in order to meet due dates according to clients' requirements;
* Assign tasks to team members, according to their internal function, competences and capabilities, in order to increase team performance;
* Responsible to ensure that employees competencies and capabilities from his/her team are at the level required by the job, by setting objectives and proposing technical and soft skills trainings for his employees;
* Active participation in defining and improving processes, methods, technologies and tools used by the team;
* Allocate resources to different projects, assure cross-functional communication, and assure high-quality results in line with the department strategy;
* Monitoring the stock levels and coverage of raw materials and corrective action if necessary, in order to achieve optimum inventory levels with due regard to the Total Cost approach, reduce/avoid excess and obsolete raw material;
* Safeguards the flow of information and materials in conjunction with the external supply centers, with the aim of 100% customer supply, explicit orientation to customer requirements and also cost-effective use of resources and cost optimized processes;
* Responsible for all the department KPI's;
* Is the interface of the team towards next levels of management/ within the department/ Suppliers, offer support to team members in high escalations to suppliers;
* Responsible to define strategies, to mentor and/or coach/ evaluate the team members, assuring guidance;
* Ensures that new team members easily get integrated in his/ her organization;

Job Requirements:

* Degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin or other related field;
* SAP experience;
* Team leading / coaching skills;
* Good communication skills;
* Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities while maintaining a professional demeanor;
* 3 -5 years working in SCM or in related functional areas;
* Automotive supply chain management experience.
