Quality Manager in Project for Automotive SAM (TM)

These should spark your interest: The Quality manager in Project is actively supporting the project core team as empowerment partner of the Project Manager for addressing adequately the Quality relevant topics to achieve the best robustness of products for Continental.

* Main interface between the customer and internal team members;
* Leads all quality related activities of development projects according to our Continental Product life cycle from the quote phase until handover to the production plant;
* Define and maintain the project specific quality strategy in the Project Plan and in the quality assurance plan;
* Ensures the fulfillment of the internal, external and legal requirements related to the project;
* Provide support to Project team on methodology and Quality tools;
* Manages product validation all along development phase;
* Define, tracks, ensures in time implementation of correct data in the internal reporting systems and tools;
* Drives actively and ensures the implementation of adequate corrective actions in case of deviations;
* Escalate the deviations by being disciplinary independent from the Project Manager;
* Initiates and tracks improvement action plans and checks the effectiveness of the problem solving activities;
* Drives the capitalization of learning within the development with the active support of project core team;
* Coordinate and support the Audit for our external or internal customers according to Automotive standards (IATF, VDA, A spice, ...);
* Responsible for Quality /liability data maintenance and target achievement in the respective systems.

Job Requirements:

This is what it takes to be a successful Quality Manager in Project:

* University degree in relevant Technical Fields (i.e. Electrical , System, Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering);
* More than 3 years of professional experience in Quality department preferably within the automotive industry;
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office package;
* Good knowledge of legal requirements and automotive quality standart (e.g ISO TS, IATF, A spice);
* Knowledge of statistics and design for Six sigma is an advantage;
* Fluent Business English,German knowledge is an advantage;
* Assertiveness, sense of responsibility, team spirit, conflict management abilities, delegation without authority, stress resistance;
* Intercultural sensitivity beside good networking and communication skills.
