Job Description:
* SQM Component Introduction responsible for Connectors and Plastics Mechatronics components.
* Responsible for component introduction and development phase APQP: connectors and plastics mechatronics components in a project core team from quotation phase until product release is achieved without supplier related component failures.
* Supplier selection/ VDA 6.3 audits and development: contributes to plan and conduct supplier evaluations, assessments and audits.
* Drive global supplier quality improvements programs: responsible to define targets and control measures with the supplier to be able to support overall Continental targets.
* Responsible to plan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain for all supplied good and services in his area of responsibility to continuously observe the quality performance of supplier.
* A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
Job Requirements:
* Technical academic studies or comparable education in the field of electrical, automation or mechanical engineering.
* Technical experience for following technologies: molding, connectors assembly, stamping, plating, in-line testing.
* Work experience in the field of mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
* Experience in the automotive industry or other comparable industries.
* Quality assurance know-how, product safety issues and risk management.
* Management skills, tools and techniques.
* Problem solving and decision-making tools and techniques.
* Human relations skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking).
