    Job Description:

    Do you want to be a Business Managed Application (BMA) Technical Consultant? These should spark your interest: In your new position, you will be part of a global Automotive IT Organization providing IT Services to Automotive Divisions worldwide. As member of the Solution Center team you will have the possibility to develop and implement own ideas, work independently within the specified framework and thus have a direct impact on the success of the future Automotive IT as well as Automotive business. Basic responsibilities:

    * Proved technical consultancy to multiple managed services customers
    * Provide IT infrastructure recommendation and solution architecture based on customer requirements
    * Preparation and compilation of technical documentation for infrastructure support
    * Proactive support for multiple customer and internal hosted environments
    * Ability to present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
    * Analyze and identify recommendations for enhancements based on ITIL/ITSM best practices.

    Job Requirements:

    This is what it takes to be a successful in Business Managed Application (BMA) Technical Consultant: Proven consulting experience leading the deployment of ITSM processes/solutions in client environments

    * Good experience in requirements gathering, including experience in creating process documentation
    * Demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to ITSM sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems during project delivery
    * Strong understanding and experience with leading ITSM toolsets such as HP Service Desk, HP Service Manager, etc
    * 2 to 3 years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry Additional desired IT skill areas include
    * Experience in analyzing and recommending ITSM strategies based on desired business outcomes and priorities
    * Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and Networks (TCP/IP)
    * Experience in Virtualization and Server
    * Knowledge of Databases and SQL and Software Delivery Lifecycle experience

    Desired soft skills include

    * Excellent communications skills and a professional telephone manner are essential in this customer-focused role
    * Decision making with an analytical mind-set and strong analytical capabilities
    * Proven ability to work under pressure and with other people
    * Excellent time management and self-motivation skills
    * Planning, organization and strong desire to provide best of class solutions using the latest technology
    * Language knowledge: effectively Fluent in English (speaking / writing)
    * A degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology
