Engineering Strategy Manager VNI CE - TSR

What we do? VNI Central Engineering is a platform centric and function orientated development organization. We set standards for the new server based vehicle architectures and foster re-use in order to improve our competitiveness. Our organization covers the full set of R&D activities, starting with project management, including all disciplines (System, SW, HW, MD) and Process Methods and Tools. What we look for? A person with relevant Project Management or Multi-Discipline experience, able to develop with us the VNI CE Engineering and Strategy. The role is a global one in the organization and includes: VNI CE Technical Project Management (TPM) Office:

* Drive the Technical Project Management Online Community (Connext / Teams);
* Coordinate TPM process, methods and Tools activities within CE e.g., contribution to House of Solutions and being the interface to the VNI PMT;
* Establish, maintain and improve regular (monthly, quarterly) technical project reporting (metrics) as part of a standard project reporting set;
* Drive Technical Project Management related Career and Competency models in CE;
* Offer project and process support and trainings to the CE TPM community. VNI CE Strategy and Operative Management Support:
* Support implementation of VNI CE strategy;
* Support headcount planning and reporting as well as footprint structure esp. on Project level reviews;
* Preparation of Presentations, Meetings, Reviews, etc.
* Support implementation of VNI CE strategy;
* Deputy to CE Expert Career Coordinator, Facilitate and document new Field Reviews in line with process and in alignment with the respective CE stakeholders.

Job requirements:

* Academic degree in Engineering or Natural science or similar;
* Relevant working experience in engineering projects in Technical Project Leader role or Discipline Lead position;
* Solid experience in the Automotive sector regarding processes and systems;
* Strategic thinking with problem solving competencies and well-structured working method;
* Very good communication and presentation skills in English;
* Proactive and highly motivated personality with team player attitude;
* Willingness to travel internationally on occasions. Would be a plus to have:
* Project Management certifications;
* German language skills.
