Prototype Shop Purchaser - TSR

Job description:

<li> Ensure the availability of A/B/C samples for projects in development phase;

<li> Responsible for processing of samples orders using SAP and to ensure compliance of guidelines of all purchasing activities for sample material;

<li> Define supplier strategy & supplier panel for mechanical prototype suppliers together with the technical experts;

<li> Make certain that all suppliers fulfill minimum requirements regarding certifications & contractal status;

<li> Negotiating of prices and frame contracts;

<li> Identification and realiziation of cost saving potentials;

<li> Involvement in cost value analysis activities for prototype components & tools;

<li> Involvement in communication between Continental's suppliers and internal departments;

<li> Send RFQs (Request for Quotation) and analyse the offers for complex mechanical components;

<li> Analysis and improvement of workflows, tools and processes.

Job requirements:

<li> University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Mechanics, Echonomics) is required;

<li> Minimum 2 years experience in Purchasing;

<li> SAP know-how is a plus;

<li> Has initiative and is self driven;

<li> Available for business trips when required;

<li> Is fluent in English (both written and spoken) and has good networking skills;

<li> Has strong functional use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
