Senior IT Consultant - IT TSR

As a Senior IT Consultant you will have the following tasks:

<li> Responsible for deployment, configuration, implementation, change management and support of the monitoring applications (Micro Focus APM, SiteScope, BPM and BMC TrueSight) running on Linux RHEL, Windows Server and Windows 10;

<li> Provide operational and user support for the monitoring application for stability, optimal performance and integration with other to;

<li> React to changes of the monitored services;

<li> Creation and maintenance of monitoring e2e scripts using Micro Focus VuGen and configuration of system monitors in SiteScope;

<li> Manage interface from other system monitoring tools like Nagios/Icinga/Oracle CC/SAP Solution Manager to the monitoring application;

<li> Responsible for creating monitoring reports and define alerts for breakdowns;

<li> Responsible for creating dashboards and views for users;

<li> Give technical training for software solutions in the monitoring and event management area;

Requirements:

<li> Computer Science or equivalent studies (Bachelor's Degree);

<li> Willingness and ability to work in a global distributed team;

<li> Fluent English (German is a plus );

<li> Leadership experience (in projects or disciplinary) is a plus;

<li> Experience in working with IT monitoring tools (HP BSM, BMC etc );

<li> Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP);

<li> Basic database knowledge;

<li> Basic understanding of used applications (web applications, citrix, ...);

<li> Experience with IT Service monitoring;

<li> Good knowledge of Linux and Windows OS administration;

<li> Good knowledge of powershell and bash scripting;

<li> Basic knowledge of ITIL processes;

<li> Knowledge of C programing language is a plus;
