    Requirements

    +3 years’ experience in a similar role
    Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2003/2008/2012) DFS, DNS, WINS, DHCP
    Microsoft Active Directory
    Microsoft Exchange
    Microsoft SQL Server
    Citrix Presentation Server
    Citrix : Security (NetScaler & DMZ)
    Backup systems
    Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server
    A basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking
    Group Policy design and configuration

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred
    Foreign languages: Fluent in English and French

    Responsibilities

    2nd line support - Investigating and fixing problems escalated from 1st line support
    Installation and configuration
    Capacity management
    Monitoring and performance improvements
    Maintaining and improving support information and documentation
    Training junior technical staff from 1st line support
    Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers and devices
    Proactively manage and maintain server and systems
    Administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix and VMware technologies
    Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
