Biofuels and Feedstock Engineer

- University degree in economy or chemistry
- 5 years experience, ideal in the mineral oil and/or renewable energy sector
- Good level of speaking and understanding of English
- Computer literate, presentation skills
- Strong network to international suppliers
- Capability of multi – cultural approach
- Skills in negotiation techniques and extensive negotiation experience
- Previous experience in managing projects based teams

- Planning and forecasting duties
- Ensure planning and deviation management in line with the integrated planning result and in cooperation with Supply Operations for CL2 (Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Moldova)
- Develop strategies for bio fuels supply and monitor legal development in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Moldova
- Planning of Feedstock & Biofuel prices
- Develop and implement the Biofuels Strategy, in compliance with the European and local legal requirements
- Conclude Supply Agreements for biofuels & feedstock in CL2 (Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Moldova)
- Act as single point of contact for existing and new suppliers
- Act as single point of accountability for Integrated Planning, Commercial, Retail, Refining and DOS sub-departments for Biofuel & Feedstock related issues
- Monitors biofuel related developments and support biofuel action plan implementations in CL2 markets (Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Moldova)
- Prepare, execute and manage Term and Spot Contracts for CL2 in cooperation with MOS-FB
- Provide knowledge-sharing on published/project legislation, standards, technical specifications within DOS sub-departments: European Legislation, Government Ordinance, Law, Order, sustainability requirements, prices, tariffs, taxation, hard currency regulations, etc.; examines such regulations as soon as they are published
Market research for monitoring all biofuels relevant information for Romania and CL2 and related markets
- Lobby to the authorities in order to support company’s proposals on the draft legislation regarding biofuels and sustainability
- Assess the impact of the biofuels on prices and costs (determined by the biofuels costs excise level, market trends)
- Assess the business impact – changes in production, wholesale and retail prices – as a result of the blending of biofuels
- Initiate and collaborate in cross department biofuel projects
- Complies with the applicable environmental, health and safety legislation
- Representation of the company within Romanian Standardization Association on sustainability (TC 360)
