    Requirements

    Required:
    "•Minimum of four (4) years of experience managing enterprise firewall solutions
    •Advanced Networking knowledge (Routing, Switching, VRRP, NAT, iptables)
    •Intimate familiarity with the OSI Model and how it is used in troubleshooting
    •Linux administration skills (scripting, modules, patching, problem determination)
    •Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
    •Customer facing skills (customer service abilities are a must)
    •Packet capture analysis
    •Experience with change control policy and procedures
    Nice to have:
    •Prior experience with IT security devices such as Blue Coat Secure Web Gateway, Source Fire IDS/IPS, Symantec DLP, Nessus, Juniper SSL-VPN, and Fore Scout (NAC)
    •Experience with VMware vSphere version 5 or later (Port groups, Virtual Machine management and configuration, vMotion, DVS)
    •ITIL-based problem/request/change management processes and software
    •IPSEC and SSL VPNs (OpenVPN preferred)
    •Layer 3-7 load balancing
    •Brocade Vyatta

    Responsibilities

    We are looking for a Firewall Engineer to join a global DevOps team supporting our enterprise-scale managed cloud solution.As a firewall engineer you'll be responsible for the configuration, deployment, and management of our firewall solution in a 24x7x365 environment. Additionally you'll assist in monitoring, configuration changes, accounts, and software updates while working alongside our team of Juniper network experts.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Act as a subject matter expert for the customer the firewall solution
    - Maintain firewall operations and document current environment
    - Incorporate change management into all processes and procedures
    - Creation of technically detailed reports on firewall block lists, device status, change management, hardware/software upgrades, and other areas
    - Analyze and evaluate anomalous network and system activity
    - Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client issues
    - Participate in on-call rotation with other network engineers as needed to maintain 24x7 service coverage
