•Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in automotive industry/ seating domain with knowledge of metal, plastic, foaming, sewing and assembly manufacturing processes;
•Strong analytical and financial skills;
•Comprehensive planning skills coupled with a high capacity to learn;
•Strong technical background in tooling and equipment;
•Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a fast- paced environment and adhere to deadlines with a positive and professional attitude;
•Strong team player who can build relations at all levels of the organization, able to communicate effectively with various levels of management, international teams and departments;
•Excellent communication skills- written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal;
•Fluency in English (written and spoken), French is a plus.
•Defines costing analysis methodology and process;
•Develops cost breakdown based on accurate financial criteria;
•Interacts with the product designers, process lines, method engineers, quality and purchasing managers to analyze, evaluate, select and defines the most competitive solutions both for the products and the manufacturing processes;
•Analyzes World Class costs of each part of the products linked to the own specific manufacturing operations guaranteeing its own added value to the product designers in order to reduce the product costs and safe guard the performance in the quality performance and to process engineers and Methodists to keep robust process control minimizing costs of production investments in equipment, tooling, machines, working capital;
•Releases robust cost structure measurement and assessment;
•Proposes studies and decisions and adopts the most profitable alternatives;
•Prepares forecast, plans and budgets/ costing;
•Cooperates with plant management, cost analysis, purchasing team, operations team for VA- VE, Kaizen, Monozukuri;
•Provides robust cost data for standard prices and transfers costs references;
•Identifies product time improvements by manufacturing departments and push for reduction of cost through innovation in the design in industrialization phases;
•Provides cost analyses for RFI/ RFQ and projects on going supporting the Commercial, Engineering and Purchasing teams;
•Determines the investments items;
•Requests offer to purchasing department for investments and unit prices;
•Works about products costs of serial production and manages product change;
•Identifies product time improvements by manufacturing departments and products prices estimation;
•Identifies losses concerning materials used in the production and required improvements;
•Participates in work concerning materials used in the production flow improvements;
•Works closely with the Commercial team for new projects rentability calculation.
