RESPONSIBILITIES
HR strategy implementation
People management and development
Recruitment and retention: managing talent and succession planning
Employment contracts and rewards
Employee relations: including managing absence, disciplinary, grievance and sickness
Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement
Performance management : coaching managers on performance management issues and processes (inc appraisal)

With the growth of the business we are looking to recruit a permanent HR Manager within Iasi, Romania. ​Up until now HR responsibilities have been fulfilled by the management teams in the respective sites (Iasi, Romania and Liverpool, UK). The role requires an experienced and proactive individual with a high level of interpersonal skills, accompanied by commercial acumen. The successful candidate will have strong business partnering / advisory skills and experience of working with senior managers to deliver HR services and of advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.
Reporting to the CEO you will have a professional and commercial approach to HR with a focus on delivering high performance and high employee satisfaction. You will serve as a key member of the management team evaluating, advising on, developing, and implementing HR strategy and performance in cooperation with the business leadership team. This will include: recruitment and selection policy / practices, retention, discipline, grievance, counselling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, talent management, succession planning, staff satisfaction measurement, moral and motivation, culture and attitude development, performance appraisal and quality management.
You will need to liaise with senior management to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development and to ensure that they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and achievements. In additional you will be responsible for maintaining awareness and knowledge of the latest HR development theory and methods and where appropriate provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization.
Whilst you will spend the majority of your time focused on the team in Iasi there will be opportunities for the right individual to also engage with and assist the UK operation in their HR activities.
Fluent English speaking and writing is a must.
