Experience and Skills

• 3 year plus relevant experience in a Technical role within the Computer industry, with in depth knowledge of Quality, Test & Repair processes.
• Ability to communicate on a Technical basis effectively at all levels.
• Engineering/Computer science degree or equivalent technical experience.

• Team player with ability to adapt to changing project demands.
• Project management skills.
• Capable of exercising control over a multi-activity complex environment.
• Pro-active, a self-starter.
• Quality Assurance/Technical background and/or experience.
• Analytical skill’s, and well organized with good cross-functional communication skills.
• Accomplishment Driven - able to see things through against tight deadlines.
• Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Job Summary
• Act as GSL interface for an Assigned Domain to address all Field impacted Quality issues. Focus being on all parts in GSL network (Repaired or new)
• Responsible for NTF and DOA measurement and improvement. Act as an effective “Challenger” towards Product groups and Wwops to ensure highest quality parts in the GSL network
• Through effective DOA/NTF Analysis Identify product quality, RV repair quality, field training issues or TSE and create effective improvement plans.
• Single Point of Contact for an Assigned Repair Supplier to address Quality issues and drive RCA and corrective with RSM and Repair Engineering teams.
• Lead and drive reductions in multiple part returns.
• Within given Domain focus conduct weekly meetings to drive deep dive fault analysis, with TSC, (Technical Support Center), RE (Repair Engineering), SRM (Services Readiness Management) and Field Service delivery groups, to ensure the NTF Closed Loop Process is adhered to and maintained.
• Participate and support the meetings on NTF and DOA reviews, pro-active analysis of DOAs and ELF (early life failures) to ensure Corrective actions are taken to improve Oracle's FRU Quality.
• Represent GSL Quality Engineering on all PQMT (Product Quality Management Team) meetings and effectively communicate initiatives, quality improvement actions an actions that impact GSL teams.
• Own and manage repair quality data procedures (ENG0008).
• Responsible for technical escalations, and provide the interface between GSL and the local TSC's and Field Operations.
• Promptly identify, investigate and escalate potential quality issues and work with the required departments / Suppliers to achieve resolution.
• Build strong relationships between the Technical Support Center, Repair Suppliers, Repair Engineering and Field Operations.
• Assist in the Technical qualification and auditing/assessments where necessary of any new Repair Suppliers to ensure both Quality and Technical standards are met in accordance with Oracle Procedures and Processes.
• Assist in RV Technical qualification and auditing / assessments when required.
