About us

Ubisoft Bucharest has been an important pillar for the local gaming industry since, being the first Ubisoft production studio outside France. It has a strong history of contributing to iconic AAA franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Watch Dogs and Just Dance, and has helped develop a total of over 60 games. Today, the studio is the 2 nd largest Ubisoft studio worldwide and continues to tackle the biggest challenges in gaming and technology, contributing to the creation of new and amazing games.

Requirements:

• Release management will put you in contact with several studios around the world. Your English must be fluent and you must have great communication skills both written and verbal.
• To handle studios needs on their day to day, you will need multitasking, prioritization as well as productivity and organizational skills.
• Overall you need to be able to adapt to new situations, be a quick learner and spread your knowledge to the teams you work with.
• Last but not least, you’ll be in the heart of the mobile business, part of your job is to stay up to date on the latest news and share key information with the rest of the company.
• For this we’re looking for someone with an active interest in the industry and it’s ever evolving ecosystem.

Summary:

As part of the Mobile Release Management team, you are responsible for publishing our games on App Stores.

Within this position, you are a key contact for both HQ and studios all along the project’s life: from taking care of the early steps of the technical setup to actually pressing the release button and executing live operations


Responsibilities:

As a Release Manager, you handle a portfolio of projects on the following topics:

1) Planning Management

o Discuss, create and share planning for each submission taking into account store-specific deliverables.

o Monitor delivery timings and make sure planning is respected.

2) Certification Process

o Handle technical setup: app declaration in the systems, configuration of project features (Achievements / Leaderboard / In-App purchases)…

o Coordinate with Line Producers and teams for each update

o Provide support on certification topics.

3) Submissions

o Submit our games on different stores (iOS, Google Play as well as other stores when relevant).

o Gather the required greenlight from each department before submission.

o Upload the new builds and metadata on each backend.

4) Release

o Be the contact for submission topics on iOS, Google Play as well as other platforms, ensure all stakeholders has the right level visibility before and after the release.
