Junior Technical QA Tester

Qualifications:

Basic understanding of performance testing methodologies best practices
Strong knowledge of scripting languages ( Powershell would be a plus)
Basic knowledge of Continues integration process and tools ( Jenkins would be a plus)
Good knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle
Good knowledge of SQL
Passionate about technologies and interested in testing & testing tools
Able to quickly understand new concepts
Possess analytical thinking, be detail oriented and well-organized
Be able to communicate effectively with persons holding different roles
Act both as a team player and self-learner
Good written and spoken English
(nice to have) Experience in development and maintenance of automated software framework
(nice to have) Experience with performance testing tools ( Load Runner, Jmeter)
(nice to have) Experience in working with distributed version control systems like GIT

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Develop performance tests based on use cases
Execute tests, and participate in troubleshooting when issues are identified
Provide analysis of performance testing results and provide insights into where optimization opportunities and application inefficiencies exist
Maintain and enhance the documentation for performance tests, framework and tools
Provide feedback on the quality of the project/product through meetings, progress reports and communication with the project team/stakeholders
Act as a software quality advocate throughout development, testing, delivery and implementation phases of software development lifecyle

Report performance statistics for different version of the software
