• University degree;
• Minimum 3-5 years in FMCG: category management / data analysis;
• Budget management experience – would be a plus;
• PC knowledge – Outlook, Internet, Word, Excel, Power Point – advanced;
• English – advanced;
• Good presentation skills;
• Able to travel inside and outside the country (app 25% of the time);
• Driving license - B;
• Business oriented and focused on achieving results;
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach, long term player;
• Strong analytic skills, used to analyzing data and quick interpretation of figures;
• Very good organization and prioritization skills;
• Used to interpreting data and bringing added value insights;
• Good interpersonal skills / clear communication skills, able to make complicated figures/ reports simple to understand and follow for the colleagues/ customers;
• Team spirit, positive attitude, constructive, ready to listen the others’ opinions and to cooperate for finding the best solution for the business;

For our client, a global company which become known for making disposable consumer products, we are looking for a Category Manager.
Countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Moldavia
• In-depth understanding of the market, competition and their strategies;
• Prepare customers presentations, actively participate in the meetings with customers, obtain agreements for Category Management projects (work together with KAMs);
• Analyze customer data, propose shelf structure and organization, optimized assortment, planograms, signage materials for the shelves;
• Coordinate implementation for the projects within retailers, organize and supervise all actions related (documents, people, products, signage);
• Ensure follow-up of the implemented shelves, in order to adjust / make corrections / offer feedback to the retailer;
• Monitoring of listings, shelf shares and leaflets shares and provide recomandations on actiones required;
• Maintain permanent contact with the retailer, build trust, partnership, gain retailer respect & confidence;
• Provide accurate analysis of the market (Nielsen, GFK) for each category, in order to provide clear interpretations and recommendations for internal audience (marketing, sales, general management) and external audience (customers);
• Provide monthly analysis on promotions performance for all categories. Provide clear interpretations and recommendations for trade marketing and sales;
• Seize improvement opportunities within in-store situations and propose clear recommendations;
• Localize the general merchandising guidelines for each category based on specific retailers organizations, to provide sales colleagues support for shelf optimization;
• Study trade shopper behavior, analyze and conclude with clear action plans and recommendations;
• Offer constant support to sales colleagues for topics related to: customer range optimization, planograms, shelf exposure, promo results, shopper insights;
• Represent local organization at international meetings for Catman and take an active role in the further development and implementation of the category management.
