Functional Safety Engineer

- Planning and coordination of all necessary functional safety activities encompassing the life cycle of the product
- Create or maintain all necessary safety documentation (hazard & risk analysis, safety requirements)
- Alignment of process methods and tools with ISO 26262
- Support of engineering process development with respect to ISO 26262
- Responsible for verifying the successful implementation of safety features and validating that the required safety level has been achieved

Any of the qualifications below are a big plus:
- Knowledge of development processes for embedded hardware and software design in the automotive area with respect to functional safety standards like ISO 26262 especially relating to System Decompositions and/or Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) analysis
- Be familiar with V-Cycle development process and understand different particularities of each stage
- Consistent background on unit testing and test frameworks
- Have experience in C++ development and OOP concepts
- Strong Linux user skills
- Easily adapt to new coding techniques and cutting-edge programming language development technologies
