    Short company description


    The main task will be to design electrical installations in commercial and industrial buildings per European, Romanian and Swedish regulations as well as internal standards:
    ♣ Drafting 2D and 3D drawings ventilation, heating, plumbing, sewage, hose reels, sprinklers, medical gases etc. using MagiCAD on AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP or MagiCAD on Revit
    ♣ Drafting As-Built packages
    ♣ Heating, cooling and ventilation loads calculations
    ♣ Prepare services drawings for HVAC/Public Health infrastructure to include: thermal agent and ventilation distribution routes, terminals location, plant equipment, etc. in 2D or 3D as required
    ♣ Distribution infrastructure sizing
    ♣ Size and choose HVAC equipment and materials using various software packages
    ♣ Prepare HVAC/ Public Health functional schematics (PIDs)
    ♣ Prepare bills of quantities;
    ♣ Coordinate with the Electrical design engineers and all other relevant disciplines
    ♣ Drafting Reports and other written documents in English, as required
    ♣ Follow in full the QA processes relevant to project work, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence are prepared, issued, filed and archived in an appropriate manner, in accordance with the company�s QA protocols
    Further responsibilities include:
    ♣ Carry out discipline designs to required standards and quality;
    ♣ Coordinate with CAD Technicians concerning project requirements and timelines;
    ♣ Ensure that all designs are reviewed to the required standards;
    ♣ Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline;
    ♣ Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables;
    ♣ Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies;
    ♣ Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met;
    ♣ Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to the Line Manager;
    ♣ Attend and contribute in team and project meetings as required;

    Contribute to the delivery of the BU strategy including supporting the companies approach to sustainability;
    ♣ Ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across team and projects;
    ♣ Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline;
    ♣ Feedback on all business development opportunities;
    ♣ Lightning protection assessment;
    ♣ Write the specification for the projects and establish the schedules for all equipment;
    ♣ Coordinate with the Mechanical design engineers and all other relevant disciplines;
    ♣ Liaise with the design team members to convey the requirements of the Mechanical and Electrical service to them, as well as understanding the client brief.


    ♣ ONLY Building services/Mechanical Engineering (persons that graduated from UTCB)
    ♣ Minimum 3-5 years� experience of designing HVAC and/or plumbing systems in a variety of building types
    ♣ Project experience should include participation from the design phase through the final construction close-out
    ♣ Experience in design for northern Europe countries is an advantage
    ♣ Very good skills in AutoCAD
    ♣ Experience in 3D CAD design
    ♣ Experience of AutoCAD MEP, MagiCAD and/or Revit is an advantage
    ♣ Good skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    ♣ Experience in NavisWorks, Solibri is an advantage

    Personal qualities:
    ♣ Ability to work in a team and demonstrate work and moral ethics
    ♣ Ability to respect deadlines and achieve targeted results whilst working individually
    ♣ Very good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
    ♣ Knowledge of Swedish language is an advantage (though not a requirement)
    ♣ Good knowledge of European building and energy codes
    ♣ Availability to travel
