Our client is a market leader in the telecommunications business field and also the first operator in Romania that included in its portfolio integrated communications for business customers: voice and mobile data services, fixed voice and dedicated fixed data services, all from a single private communications network.
Role purpose: Roaming services service assurance by mean of preventive maintenances, periodical audits or active and passive probing alarming on specific services.
Requirements:
- University degree: faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science, Cybernetics, Informatics or equivalent;
- 1-2 years of experience in Telecommunication;
- Scripting tools;
- Data Base user knowledge (complex queries);
- SS7 MAP Signaling;
- Diameter Signaling;
- DNS protocols;
- Roaming knowledge (protocol and signaling).
Responsibilities:
The role will provide the service assurance task related on Services:
- Steering of Roaming;
- IPX services;
- STP services;
- Configuration audits btw systems and tools;
- SMS Hub Service.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- System administration tools (UNIX) expert level;
- Passive probing, counters management to create service alarms;
- Root Cause analysis for complex major incidents & escalated faults;
- Where required, support new technology, service & solution;
- Support customer Project and Change delivery activities as required.
