Junior Support Engineer - Functional

Strong functional background with a degree in business of Finance or mathematics
Knowledge of financial markets and processes in front, middle or back offices will be useful
Posses ‘can-do’ attitude and able to work under stress and possess strong customer service skills
Resourceful and creative in problem resolution by being able to identify issues, analyse implications, consider options and evaluate risks
Able to work independently and yet contribute as a team player

Respond to and resolve client problems within performance standards
Supply calculations in excel to check the pricing or the risk indicators of vanilla financial instruments and explaining the P&L report results
Test and validate new software versions and patches and liaise with developers on software bugs, specifications & user requirements
Propose workaround solutions and provide customizations when appropriate
Build strong relationship with front-line groups in order to stay in tune with their needs
Provide on-site assistance as well as providing user trainings and write documentation as and when required.
