In Romania, Goodyear Dunlop has been present since 1999 and it is represented by two different legal entities, Goodyear Dunlop Tires (Sales Office) and Goodyear Operations.
Goodyear Operations Romania is the Global Business Services Center of Goodyear Dunlop EMEA. The GBS Center in Bucharest started back in July 2011. The core mission of the Center has always been to provide internal customer satisfaction with the shared responsibility of delivery - Driving performance as ONE TEAM.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of experience in factory accounting with relevant standard costing and inventory management experience.
• 2 + years’ experience in leading, developing and coaching teams.
• Good working knowledge of GAAP and SOX
• Fluent English + Served Cluster language written and spoken
• Demonstrates a high level of understanding of how key accounting decisions impact the business
• Competency with computer systems: database, spreadsheet, ERP-based financial system (SAP preferred), and reporting tools such as Hyperion.
• Ensure the team’s accurate and timely delivery of activities within Factory Accounting (e.g. inventory accounting transactions, Closing Activities and Financial Reporting, etc.) in accordance with SLAs.
• Manage and coordinate the reconciliation of the respective accounts to ensure they balance and that any discrepancies or variations are investigated and corrected
• Provide interpretation and set direction for the application of accounting standards related to inventory and cost of goods sold Implement strict compliance with the company standards and policies
Ability to view complex/conflicting data, identify problems and propose solutions/alternatives
Good communication & collaboration skills
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to create productive business environment for associates by providing opportunities to demonstrate/develop their skill sets.
Effectively utilize performance management to optimize associate contribution.
