Internship Supplier and Material Advisor - Electrical Engineering – AN (TM)

Job Description

This position involves activities of keeping contact with different component suppliers, staying up to date with market prices and have a good knowledge of what a competitive component integration would mean, taking into account all involved parameters like sales and return profit. It also involves activities around a component life cycle inside the company from the date of introduction to the date in which it is promoted to a mature enough state in order to be used in the production line. Will also learn about production activities and will keep contact with the engineers working on the respective sites.

What you will be doing:

• Market study on specific electronic components;
• Keeping up with new available technology and opportunities;
• Keep close contact with AP (Advanced Purchasing);
• Support colleagues with knowledge with regards to available components in company specific database;
• Support colleagues with MLC (Material Life Cycle) specific activities;
• Keep contact with Plant locations from specific projects that are still ongoing in the team;
• Offer BOM (Bill of Material) evaluation and recommendations when needed.

• University student, preferably in a technical area of study;
• Good Electrical Engineering Knowledge;
• Communication Skills;
• Ethical Judgment and Integrity;
• Fluent conversational and written English.
