Originations Supervisor with Spanish

- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish language - Candidate should be able to hold seamless conversations in Spanish over phone and chat with dealers, customers, third party collection agencies and other external parties.

- Working knowledge of English language - Candidate should be able to understand conversations in English as part of training modules, and also read emails/documents written in English. Basic fluency in language will suffice.

- Previous experience of 5-7 years, of which 1-2 years in role of a supervisor with banking or non-banking financial firms is preferred.

- Define annually, together with the operations manager, the strategy of originations team in Spain. Control compliance with this strategy.
- Optimize the workload between different teams.
- Supervise, analyze, evaluate and decide on the approval, request for additional guarantees or rejection of credit applications received up to the maximum level. Employee to decide if the client, based on all the available information meets the approval Guidelines, and if there is sufficient guarantee to grant the loan to the client.
- Daily contact with the commercial delegates and / or employees of the concession (managers, sales managers, salespeople) to discuss the conditions of approval of the credit proposals. Advise, resolve incidents, negotiate, when necessary,
- Participate together with Risks & Litigation in the review and analysis of the monthly losses of Retail / Leasing, especially in those operations detected as fraudulent.
- Ask the operations manager for any special approval that may arise with a financing transaction that is outside its approval limits.
- Supervise the work of team members as indicated in the specifications of each position.
- Know and respect all company procedures (Money Laundering, Data Protection, Banking Regulation, Desk Procedures, Housekeeping, PII Procedure and PID).
- Supervise the archiving activities of all the documentation indicated by AFR procedure and classification according to GIS matrix.
- Responsible for the application of the Underwriting guidelines.
- Responsible for all types of support in the area required by Internal Control or external accounting audit.
- Management of suppliers, both in registration, monitoring and approval of invoices when necessary,
