Collection Supervisor with Spanish

- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish language - Candidate should be able to hold seamless conversations in Spanish over phone and chat with dealers, customers, third party collection agencies and other external parties.
- Working knowledge of English language - Candidate should be able to understand conversations in English as part of training modules, and also read emails/documents written in English. Basic fluency in language will suffice.
- Previous experience of 5-7 years in role of a collection agent / supervisor with banking or non-banking financial firms is preferred.

- Set the Department objectives and Manage the team, ensuring that all the department's activities are in full compliance with internal and external procedures and within the established times.
- Analyze the performances of external agencies by completing the relative report. Perform comparative analysis to the agency for the results achieved, for all the aspects relating to the pricing and for new initiatives aimed at maximizing the recovery activity. Ensure that the collection activity respects the Ford Credit Europe (FCE) procedures and the legal requirements.
- Approve the write-off / abandon and change status of accounts after analyzing them with analysts.
- Checks and approve maintenance requests and / or queries received by the analyst.
- Contribute to the achievement of delinquency objectives in respect of the departmental budget.
- Find solutions and propose initiatives to improve the day-by-day activities of the collection department.
- Ensure the accurate completion of all Control Points and Sarbanes-Oxley procedures/processes.
- Relate to all departments for issues involving the collection.
- Manage all the steps of debt sales process and when required to identify investors to organize the tender..
- Check the capacity of the purchase orders of the collection; ensure the closure of the expired ones and their renewal for the following period.
- Check the analysis of the corrections for the repayment of amounts on credit.
- Analyze the recovery activities and plans subsequent recovery activities.
- Supervise all credit recovery activities by analyzing and approving repayment proposals and / or transactions.
- Supervise the activity of the department by ensuring that the procedures are followed and the scheduled times are respected.
- Define the Collection Strategy for FCE Spain.
- Lead any initiative related to fraud control.
- Control all the Remarketing activities such as vehicles repossession and sale, approve this type of requests.
- Responsible of all the Minimum Vehicle Sale price fixed for auctions, considering the Specialist recommendations, following FCE Procedure.
- Member of the Spain´s Consumer Credit Assesment Committee.
