We are currently looking for a visionary and talented person to join our Business Development Team, as a BUSINESS DEVELOPER. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities in clean energy solutions, understand profitability drivers, bring projects to maturity, and present them to the ENGIE Romania top management for approval, manage projects and interact daily with internal and external stakeholders.

    What you will do:

    • You will get involved in market prospecting, in order to identify projects in accordance with the company's strategic objectives, and you will conduct negotiations to secure these projects. 
    • You will analyze projects and prioritize business opportunities according to the potential for profit and scalability. 
    • You will get involved in the preparation of files for the investment committee, in order to obtain the necessary approvals for the development of the projects. 
    • You will manage the relationship with internal or external consultants, on topics such as: financial aspects, technical evaluation, preparation of the workbook. 
    • You will organize, under the coordination of a Senior Business Developer, the meetings and documents necessary for development of each project. 
    • You will permanently check the impact of economic, political, regulatory and technological evolution on development plans and projects.

    Desired education, expertise, and skills:
    • Bachelor’s degree in technical or economic field;
    • Knowledge of financial analysis and valuation;
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (in the BD field, project management in the energy field, energy production technologies, energy market, M&A);
    • Knowledge of project methodology;
    • Economic knowledge applied to the field of energy;
    • Advanced knowledge of English;
    • Persuasive person with a very good ability to interact with other people;
    • Orientation towards results;
    • Openness to change;
