We are recruiting a Senior Network Engineer, with strong CISCO knowledge for our business partner, from the US.

They are a single-source provider of advanced information technology solutions by offering various IT Services including design and consulting, Internet/intranet development, network management, and desktop support.

You will be responsible for maintaining network availability, reliability, and performance while keeping an eye on emerging technologies and industry trends.

As a Network Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related issues, optimize network configurations, and contribute to the overall success of our technology initiatives.

Skills and Knowledge:

At least 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role;
Must advanced Cisco Routing/Switching Experience with AWS infrastructure and configuring, operating, and querying AWS logging (CloudTrail, VPC flow logs)
Intermediate Palo Alto firewalls- nice to have
Preferred: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Configuration, Installation, Testing, Troubleshooting, and Support for each: Cisco Wireless, Cisco Voice/CUCM, Cisco/Viptela SD-WAN
Advanced technical knowledge and working experience, designing, configuring, deploying and maintaining various Cisco switching platforms including (Cisco ACI SDN, Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, and 2K, Cisco Catalyst 9k, 39xx, 38xx 29xx chassis and stack-based switches)
Advanced technical knowledge and working experience, designing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining various Cisco routing platforms to include (ASR 1001, 1002 series, ISR 43xx, 44xx, 45xx, Catalyst 8k routers) as well as most common routing protocols, OSPF, BGP, IGRP, RPVST+, VPC)
Performing discoveries on existing equipment in preparation to upgrade/replace
Creating and applying configuration
Installation and testing of hardware
Support and troubleshooting of the hardware
Performing policy review and documentation of existing firewall environments
Applying base configuration to firewalls new out-of-box
Applying a policy to firewalls (add new, change existing, remove)
Configuration of interfaces to accommodate circuit type
Configuration of routing on the devices to support the L3 connectivity
Intermediate WAN experience
Identification of circuits at a DMARC
Protocol and topology understanding
Connecting circuits to equipment
Troubleshooting and supporting connections


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Certification in CCIE and CCNP is highly advantageous
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, PAN-OS)

Design, deploy, and configure network architecture, encompassing LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, as well as network equipment like routers, switches, and firewalls.
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, enforce security measures, and perform regular network maintenance and updates.
Identify and implement network optimization strategies, continually assessing capacity and recommending scaling solutions.
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
Maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and configurations, while providing regular reports on network performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related issues and provide technical support for network incidents and outages.
Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery).
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions
