This means we are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to join a growing team and to support testing initiatives in conjunction with the development of our software applications. Ensuring the quality of our business systems is paramount, so our customers can get behind data that really matters.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Design, implement and deliver automated software and infrastructure deployments to improve the scalability, availability, performance, latency, and efficiency of the company

    • Provides Performance testing software systems support for respective business unit

    • Coordinates and acts upon the creation of Test Cases, scripts and performance test execution

    • Implement test cases in accordance with the project schedules

    • Perform automated load/performance testing across multiple messaging protocols (including HTTP), focusing on overall application performance - validating that application response and outputs accurately reflect business requirements

    • Tracks and communicates task progress, status, and key performance metrics

    • Identify, report and actively handle defects via the defect tracking system

    • Communicate optimally across multiple teams/external vendors (Operations, Project Teams, Quality Service), different personnel (Developers, Scrum Masters, Project Managers) when required

    • Handle quality assurance testing and bug/fix resolution

    • Designing and implementing performance test

    • Analysing performance data

    • Collaborating with developers

    • Providing recommendations based on test result

    • Monitoring system performance

    • Keeping up with industry trends and standard

    • Documenting processes and procedures

    • Help the team to build the acceptance criteria covering the requirements, multi-functional and other aspects of the systems such as load, performance and fault tolerance format. Work with the team to build, review and update automated test scripts based on agreed acceptance criteria.

    Required Skills

    • min 5+ years of experience in automation testing and performance testing

    • Strong Typescript/Javascript skills

    • CI/CD, testing automation tools and frameworks

    • Selenium, Postman

    • Python

    Essential Personal Skills and Values

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Stays up to date with the best tooling and new technologies

    Bonus skills

    • Experience in building test automation frameworks;

    • AWS, Azure

    • MSFT Office, PowerBI

    • Agile methodologies, Scrum, SAFe

    • Significant experience working with JMeter

    • Knowledge of Financial markets is a plus

    • Experience developing your own testing tool to facilitate performance testing is a plus
