Position overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join our Randstad Digital Romania team in a challenging project in collaboration with our client, a multinational professional services brand of firms, ranking as the second-largest professional services network globally and recognized as one of the Big Four accounting firms.

As a QA Leader, you will be part of a GenAI team and you will have the opportunity to direct and coordinate the implementation of test planning, test cases and defects management. Also, in this role, you will have the opportunity to offer support to the Test Manager in achieving their strategic goals for the testing team.

Requirements:
Ability to understand the test frameworks, test automation, test environments and testing in general;
Ability to be hands on with testing the application at hand;
Able to work with offshore and onshore to ensure milestone are met;
Able to triage and/or escalate issue in a timely manner;
Knowledges of testing approaches, practices and techniques in order to help design and deliver the overall testing methodology used by the team;
Ability to monitor the effectiveness of the testing function and bring about improvements through insights gained via analysis at all stages of the SDLC/STLC.

Directing and coordinating the implementation of test planning, test cases and defects management;
Providing guidance on the selection of the most effective test design techniques in a given situation;
Providing guidance on technical types of testing across the various testing capabilities;
Working with various members of the team for ensuring performance testing, automation testing, and other testing capabilities are implemented;
Designing methods for the creation of test data;
Coordinating testing with release processes;
Supporting the Test Manager in achieving their strategic goals for the testing team by providing technical support to the Manager and the team;
Identify what tools and technologies can be implemented, aligning with that already used across the broader development function and in-line with the skill-set of the team;
Provide technical leadership and guidance on documentation and training to test and other business functions;
Stay up to speed on process, practice and technology developments to ensure they are brought in-house and enhance the solutions applied to the testing problems.
